Airgain Skywire® NL-SW-LTE Cat 1 bis Embedded Modems

Airgain Skywire® NL-SW-LTE Cat 1 bis Embedded Modems are Global 4G LTE modems based on the Quectel EG916Q-GL modules. The onboard Quectel EG916Q-GL module includes an NL-SW-LTE-QC1bisWWG with a fully integrated global navigation satellite system solution that supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, and QZSS. These modems are compatible with various Skywire development kits and microprocessor shields.

The NL-SW-LTE embedded modems feature 242μF ± 20% total capacitance and 857nH ±20% total inductance. The peak uplink and downlink speeds of these modems are 5Mbps (uplink) and 10Mbps (downlink) for the LTE-FDD connection type and 3.1Mbps (uplink) and 8.96Mbps (downlink) for the LTE-TDD connection type.

These modems comply with FCC, IC, and carrier end-device certifications. The NL-SW-LTE embedded modems require lower power than Cat 1 or Cat 4 modems, making them ideal for battery-operated, mobile, or off-grid applications.
