Microchip Technology MIC2800 Evaluation Board

Microchip MIC2800 Evaluation Board is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of MIC2800 Power Management IC (PMIC). This PMIC can deliver 600mA from a DC/DC buck converter and 300mA from the two stand-alone LDOs. The MIC2800 evaluation board includes a MIC2800-G1JS device that supports the SAMA5D2 family MPUs when operating off a 5V input rail. This board accepts an input voltage from 3.6V to 5.5V and delivers an output voltage of 1.8V for the DC/DC converter. Concerning the LDOs, the board delivers an output voltage of 1.25V for LDO1 and 3.3V for LDO2.

Features

  • 2MHz DC/DC converter and two stand-alone LDOs
  • 600mA DC/DC output current in PWM mode
  • 300mA each LDO output current
  • Includes MIC2800-G1JS device that supports the SAMA5D2 family MPUs
  • 2.7V to 5V input voltage range (LDO2 regulates down to 3.6V)
