Vishay General Semiconductor 1.5SMC TRANSZORB® SMD Transient Voltage Suppressors are designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lightning. These Vishay suppressors feature a low-profile SMC (DO-214AB) package, making the diodes ideal for automated placement. The 1.5SMC family offers excellent clamping capability and very fast response times, ensuring reliable protection for ICs, MOSFETs, and signal lines in consumer, computer, industrial, automotive, and telecommunication applications. The devices are available in both unidirectional and bidirectional configurations, with a peak pulse power capability of 1500W and a maximum junction temperature of +150°C. Additionally, the glass passivated chip junction enhances durability and performance. The 1.5SMC series meets industry standards for quality and reliability, making the devices a robust solution for transient voltage suppression.Features
