Congatec Computing Modules Powered by 22nm Intel Atom Available from Mouser

The Congatec Conga-QA3 Qseven Modules, available from Mouser Electronics, are based on the Intel E3800 Atom™ Processors which utilize Intel's industry-leading 22nm process technology with 3-D Tri-Gate transistors. This allows the Conga‑QA3 modules to deliver significant improvements in computational performance while also providing an energy-efficient systems for most applications. Congatec Qseven Conga-QA3 modules feature 2 GBytes or 4 GBytes of onboard Flash memory with additional support for eMMC 4.51 onboard Flash of up to 16 GBytes. Up to 8 GBytes of dual channel DDR3 DRAM can be populated on the board. The board is in the Qseven form factor which has the standard dimensions of 70 x 70 mm and can operate at an extended industrial temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC. Power consumption for typical applications can range between 4.5 Watts and 12 Watts.

The Conga‑QA3 is available with the Intel Atom with single, dual, or quad-core processors. The QA3 can be configured for both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports. Intel High Definition Audio and Intel HD Graphics with hardware acceleration is also supported. A Digital DisplayPort Interface (DDI) provides video resolutions of up to 2560x1600, or HDMI 1.4a video of up to 1920x1200.

The Conga-QA3 Qseven computer can be loaded with a number of operating systems including Microsoft® Windows® 8 and Windows 8 Embedded, Windows 7 and Windows 7 Embedded Compact, and Linux.
