Le condensateur polymère-aluminium organique Panasonic Electronic Components SP-Cap est un condensateur électrolytique aluminium CMS qui qui utilise un polymère conducteur comme électrolyte au sein d'une construction aluminium en couches.  La gamme de produits SP-Cap de Panasonic est composée de plusieurs séries qui offrent une gamme de capacités pouvant atteindre 560 µF, une gamme de tensions allant de 2 à 16 V et le plus faible rapport ESR/impédance du marché, fournissant ainsi une suppression du bruit et une réponse transitoire excellentes. Contrairement aux MLCC, les SP-Cap ne présentent pas de dérive thermique et de polarisation CC-CA. En outre, la rupture de tension n'est pas nécessaire avec les SP-Cap, comme dans les condensateurs au tantale, en raison de leurs caractéristiques de sécurité. Les SP-Cap représentent la solution idéale en matière de condensateurs d'entrée et de sortie pour divers convertisseurs CC-CC.

Panasonic has expanded the CS, CT, and CX SP-Cap series to include higher voltage capacitance with a range of up to 35V. The additions to the SP-Cap product line feature high voltage, low profile, high-temperature reflow, and unique electrode materials for high withstanding voltages. The higher voltage SP-Caps are used with DC/DC converters, output signal stabilization, and filtering.
