Mouser-Backed DS PENSKE Formula E Racing Team Returns to Miami for Round 5 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship

April 9, 2025 - Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, is ready to support the DS PENSKE Formula E team as they come to the United States for round 5 of Season 11 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. This is the only US stop for Season 11, and it will take place in Miami, Florida, at Homestead-Miami Speedway on April 12.

The 2025 Miami E-Prix at Homestead-Miami Speedway will be the first return to Miami since it hosted the first Formula E race on US soil in the inaugural 2015 season. Opening in 1995, the track has played host to every major North American race series, from NASCAR to IMSA and IndyCar, and once again, Formula E. As the track echoes the Art Deco glitz of nearby Miami Beach, splashes of turquoise, purple, and silver will make an excellent backdrop to what is sure to be an exciting race weekend.

The DS PENSKE Formula E team is led by two-time Formula E Champion Jean-Éric Vergne and Maximilian Günther as they pilot the new GEN3 Evo car. The GEN3 Evo is faster, stronger, and more agile than its predecessors and features an aggressive new body kit designed to be stronger, more robust and more aerodynamic. The new GEN3 Evo cars can go from 0-60 mph in 1.82 seconds, 30% faster than an F1 car. It also allows for all-wheel drive, a first for a Formula E car.

Mouser is supporting the DS PENSKE team for the globe-trekking 2024/2025 season in collaboration with TTI, Inc., and valued manufacturers Molex and KYOCERA AVX. Mouser and Molex have been partnering to sponsor Formula E racing since 2015.
