Mouser-Backed DS PENSKE Formula E Racing Team Heads to the Eternal City for Rome E-Prix

July 13, 2023 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, is excited to cheer on the  DS PENSKE Formula E Racing Team as they head to Rome for rounds 13 and 14 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship on July 15 and 16.

The Rome E-Prix will be one of the longest tracks of the season, as the Circuito Cittadino dell'EUR races around the Obelisco di Marconi against the backdrop of the iconic Colosseo Quadrato. The Rome circuit features plenty of challenges for the drivers and teams with undulations and lots of elevation changes. It's a technical and fast track with long straights and a host of passing opportunities in the Eternal City. Team drivers for the Rome E-Prix are Season 8 Champion Stoffel Vandoorne and two-time Formula E Champion Jean-Éric Vergne, both of whom are intimately familiar with the track. Vandoorne and Vergne each took the top spot on the podium in separate Formula E races in 2021 and will be looking to repeat their previous victories.
