Winchester Interconnect PolyIron™ Microwave Absorbers

Winchester Interconnect PolyIron™ Microwave Absorbers are proprietary and highly effective magnetically loaded microwave absorbers. PolyIron™ utilizes a unique blend of highly-permeable magnetic particles embedded in a flexible polymer-matrix, enabling effective absorption across a broad frequency range from 0.5GHz to 40GHz. In sheet form, the PolyIron allows easy cutting, bending, and conforming to small or irregular enclosures, making them ideal for compact RF and microwave systems. PolyIron™ microwave absorbers are commonly used to suppress cavity resonances, reduce surface currents, and minimize unwanted reflections within electronic assemblies. Typical applications include waveguide loads, antenna side-lobe attenuation, stealth and radar absorption, RFID interference elimination, and handset RF EMI suppression.
