Richtek RT6166 Buck-Boost Converter

Richtek RT6166 Buck-Boost Converter is a high-efficiency, single-inductor, and Advanced Constant On-Time (ACOT®) monolithic synchronous converter. The ACOT control architecture offers excellent outstanding line/load transient response and seamless transition between buck and boost modes. This converter is designed to operate in automatic Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) mode and forced Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) mode while maintaining high efficiency. The RT6166 converter is available in a 15-ball WL-CSP package.

The RT6166 converter includes an I2C interface for programmable output voltage, VOUT Dynamic Voltage Scaling (DVS) slew-rate adjustment, ultra-sonic mode control, and device status monitoring. This converter offers up to 95% efficiency at 3.8VIN, 3.3VOUT, and 1A ILOAD.     • VOUT = VOUT1 at VSEL = L
    • VOUT = VOUT2 at VSEL = H

    • Up to 2.5A for VIN ≥ 2.5V, VOUT = 3.3V
    • Up to 3A for VIN ≥ 3V, VOUT = 3.3V
