Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ79500 MPSafe™ 6-Channel ASIL-D Voltage Monitor is designed for automotive applications requiring precise voltage rail monitoring, like ADAS, and autonomous driving platforms. Each input features configurable over-voltage (OV) and under-voltage (UV) thresholds, enabling accurate high-frequency (HF) and low-frequency (LF) voltage detection. Two inputs are differential, remote voltage-sensing pairs ideal for monitoring high-current voltage rails. A low-power mode (LPM) option minimizes quiescent current.

The device records voltage rail sequencing/timestamps and supports synchronization via a sync I/O function, allowing multiple devices to monitor additional rails. Communication is managed through an I2C interface. Functional safety features include built-in self-testing (BIST), diagnostics, and write protection, supporting applications up to ASIL-D. The MPQ79500FS is offered in a compact QFN-16 (3mm x 3mm) package with wettable flanks and is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified.
