Molex Brad Passive-Signal & Safety MPIS Boxes
Molex Brad Passive-Signal and Safety Multi-Port Interconnection System (MPIS) Boxes feature high-performance Weld-Slag and Oil-Resistant (WSOR) home-run cable and achieve quick, easy, and reliable connections of high-density industrial signal I/Os. These Molex Safety MPIS boxes simplify wiring in harsh factory automation environments. These rugged, pre-wired boxes feature M8 and M12 threaded connections for sensors/actuators. Dual-wired M12 Passive Signal MPIS boxes save space by allowing designers to connect two sensors per port. A four-port M12 dual-wired box can connect eight sensors without increasing the housing size.Features
- Pre-wired passive MPIS (Multi-Port Interconnection System) junction box with home-run cable or M23 / M16 home-run connector port
- Concentrates multiple I/O signals into one home-run cable
- Achieves simplified wire management, faster installation times, and easier maintenance and troubleshooting
- WSOR home-run cable meets UL 758/1581 and VDE 472-803/B specifications for harsh-environment applications
- IEC-compliant M12 / M8 interfaces, connects with all standard M8 and M12 products
- Wide temperature range of -25°C to +85°C, suitable for harsh industrial environments
- Dual-wired signal ports on M12 versions (requires T-splitters), supports connection of two sensors per port
