Mikroe MIKROE-3438 Buck 11 Click Board
Mikroe MIKROE-3438 Buck 11 Click Board is a high-efficiency step-down converter that provides 3.3V on its output. This Mikroe click board is based on LMR36015, a highly efficient DC-DC step-down converter. This step-down converter allows the click board to easily deliver up to 1.5A of current. The Buck 11 click board employs an additional MCP3221 A/D converter circuit to monitor the stability of the output voltage over the I2C interface. This click board features low power dissipation, wide input supply voltage range, ADC for measuring the output voltage accuracy, and over-current, under-voltage, and thermal protection. The Buck 11 click board is ideal for field-embedded applications, PLC modules, sensors, and video surveillance systems.The LMR36015 synchronous step-down converter has a wide voltage input range and can sustain transients up to 66V at its input. This step-down converter uses peak current-mode control for optimal efficiency and output voltage accuracy. The LMR36015 synchronous step-down converter comes in a HotRod™ package, enabling higher efficiency, low noise, and the smallest package-to-die ratio.
