MACOM 2-Stage Hybrid GaN Module

MACOM MAMG-100227-010C0L is a two-stage hybrid power amplifier module based on GaN-on-Si technology that offers broadband frequency operation. The MACOM 2-stage hybrid GaN module provides fully matched input and output with a 225MHz to 2600MHz frequency range for operation. This power amplifier module delivers 10W (typical) output power with up to 40% Power Added Efficiency (PAE) and 22dB power gain. The 2-stage hybrid GaN module comes in a laminated air-cavity package.

The 2-stage hybrid GaN module also incorporates a gold-plated heat sink attached to the bottom side of the laminated substrate. This power amplifier module operates at 28V input voltage supply and -40°C to 85°C temperature range. The 2-stage hybrid GaN module comes in 14mm x 18mm compact size with top-side and bottom-side flexibility. Typical applications include tactical military communications, Land Mobile Radios (LMR), and public safety wireless markets.
