Lantronix EMG™ 8500 Edge Management Gateways

Lantronix EMG™ 8500 Edge Management Gateways are a small form factor out-of-band solution for branch offices and remote locations. This solution delivers remote troubleshooting, resilience, and remediation to improve the networks' uptime and efficiency. The EMG8500 provides easy and secure administration and management of IT equipment from anywhere at any time. These gateways include firewall features to reject or block unauthorized connection attempts and offer NIST-certified AES encryption. The EMG8500 features ConsoleFlow™ that offers a single pane of glass for centralized management and automated monitoring with real-time notifications.

The EMG8500 gateways have a Lights Out Management (LOM) ability that allows a system administrator to remotely connect, monitor, manage, and repair servers. These gateways consist of Field Replaceable Units (FRUs), a modular designed console manager that offers users the ability to reduce the time required to develop and deploy new services. The EMG8500 operates at 0°C to +50°C temperature range. These gateways are ideal for use in servers, networking equipment, telecom, and other systems with serial interfaces.
