Red Lion FlexEdge™ Modular Gateways
Red Lion FlexEdge™ Modular Gateways offer a modular architecture that easily adds cellular, Wi-Fi®, serial, or USB connectivity. These gateways provide advanced networking capabilities, including routing, NAT, firewalls, and VPN support, to ensure data security. The FlexEdge™ modular gateways support field-installable sleds, allowing the platform to adapt as application or connectivity requirements change. These gateways operate on a supply voltage range of 12VDC to 24VDC ±15%, Class 2 source. The FlexEdge gateways support configuration using Crimson® 3.2 software or a web GUI. These gateways feature an intuitive LED status ring that provides a visual indication, making diagnosing issues simple and straightforward.
The FlexEdge modular gateways are constructed in rugged IP30 enclosures and support wide operating temperature ranges for reliable operation in industrial environments. Typical applications include factory automation, alternative energy, oil and gas, power and utilities, transportation, water, and wastewater.
