DFRobot TEL0038 & TEL0123 RS-232 to RS-485 Converters
DFRobot TEL0038 and TEL0123 RS-232 to RS-485 Converters are self-powered, bi-directional adapters designed to convert a full-duplex RS-232 Signal to a half-duplex RS-485 Balanced Differential Signal and extend the communication distance to up to 1.2km.
The TEL0038 and TEL0123 Converters each feature an RS-232 DB-9 female connector and an RS-432 DB-9 male connector. Both Converters include a 4-position terminal block, which can be attached to the RS-485 port to provide screw-lug wire terminations for the port. The TEL0123 Converter includes an additional 3-position terminal block which can be attached to the RS-232 port.
No external power is required as the TEL0038, and TEL0123 Converters are powered from the RS-232 data lines.
