Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated MAX13053A CAN Interface IC

Analog Devices MAX13053A Control Area Network (CAN) Interface IC is a +5V CAN transceiver with integrated protection for industrial applications. This interface IC operates at a high-speed CAN data rate, with up to 2Mbps on small networks. The MAX13053A IC provides an extended ±65V fault protection for equipment where overvoltage protection is required. This IC features options to address common CAN application requirements, logic-level supply input, low-current standby mode, a silent mode to disable the transmitter, and a slow slew rate. The Analog Devices MAX13053A transceivers include a dominant timeout to prevent bus lockup caused by a controller error. Applications include a programmable logic controller, industrial/building automation, instrumentation, smart grid equipment, drone, and motor control.
