Within its market segment, XMC1000 offers the largest Flash memory spectrum, scaling from 8KB to 200KB. Three different series cover a range of application fields. The XMC1100 series is designed for easy entry into the XMC world. The XMC1200 line features peripherals for LED lighting and HMI designs and the XMC1300 series addresses the real-time control needs of motor control or digital power conversion applications. Leveraging Infineon's lead ranking in security MCUs, XMC1000 products deliver effective software IP protection functionality.

XMC1400 Industrial Series are based on the ARM Cortex-M0 processor core. The XMC1400 series addresses the real-time control needs of motor control and digital power conversion. The MCUs also features peripherals for LED lighting applications and Human-Machine Interface (HMI). The devices combine the extended functionality and performance of the Cortex-M0 core with optimized on-chip peripheral subsystems and on-chip memory units.

XMC1300 Control Series addresses the real-time control needs of motor control or digital power conversion applications, offering 64MHz MATH Co-Processor (DIV, COS, SIN), Position Interface (POSIF), and Timer/PWM (CCU8) offering up to 64-bit resolution, asymmetric PWM, Dead-Time Insertion, fractional clock divider, shadow transfer and external event trigger. The devices are a solution for sensorless FOC (field oriented control) for electric motors.

XMC1200 Feature Series offers peripherals for LED lighting. The XMC1200 incorporate additional application-specific features such as Analog Comparators, Brightness and Color Control Unit (BCCU) hardware engine for flicker-free dimming and color control of LEDs with up to 200kB Flash.

XMC1100 Basic Series is designed for easy entry into the XMC world. The devices feature 32MHz, 8kB to 64kB Flash, 16kB RAM, Programmable Hardware Interconnect Matrix, Timer/PWM, 12-bit ADC, and 2-channel Serial Communication Interface. The XMC1100 also include Quad-SPI, peripheral clock speed up to 64MHz from 1.8V to 5.5V and up to 105°C ambient temperature.
