Les capteurs numériques de température Maxim font partie d'une large gamme d'applications de captage et de contrôle de la température qui offre de nombreuses variantes de conception. Ces solutions offrent des informations de conception approfondies et des circuits pour la construction de chaînes de signaux de captage thermique à l'aide des capteurs thermiques les plus courants. Habituellement, la première étape d'un système de captage et de contrôle thermique consiste à déterminer la plage de température qui doit être captée, ainsi que l'environnement d'utilisation. L'étape suivante consiste à sélectionner un capteur thermique. Il existe quatre grands types de capteurs thermiques : silicium, thermistance, RTD et thermocouple. Maxim fournit des solutions de chaîne de signaux complètes ou des CI intégrés qui peuvent recevoir le signal du transducteur thermique, le traiter et fournir un retour de communication analogique ou numérique au dispositif de contrôle.
