MLX90424 Triaxis® Position Sensor ICs

Melexis MLX90424 Triaxis^® Position Sensor ICs are designed for linear movement applications and integrate a wake-up switch function. These magnetic position sensor ICs feature three isolated dies: two MLX90423 Triaxis position sensors and one MLX92292 switch. The switch optimizes energy consumption by keeping the system in a low-power state until a magnetic field is detected. The MLX90424 modules accurately detect the three components of magnetic flux density (Bx, By, and Bz), enabling precise linear displacement measurements. This makes the ICs ideal for applications where non-contact position sensing is essential. Melexis MLX90424 Triaxis Position Sensor ICs offer flexible output options, including pulse width modulation (PWM) and SENT frames encoded in a secure sensor format for system compatibility and simplified integration. The modules come in a TSSOP-16 (GO) triple-die package that is AEC-Q100 qualified and RoHS compliant.
