EZRadio® ISM Band ICs

Silicon Labs EZRadio® family of fully integrated, low-power, low-data-rate, cost-effective wireless ICs are designed to meet the needs of OEMs developing ISM applications for the consumer, industrial and automotive markets. The EZRadio ISM band receivers and transmitters target one-way wireless link applications such as remote keyless entry (RKE), garage door openers, remote controls, home automation, and security devices. Silicon Labs has expanded its EZRadio family of ISM Band ICs with a new Sub-GHz Receiver (Si4355), Transceiver (Si4455), and development kits.

EZRadioPRO® ISM Band ICs

Silicon Labs EZRadioPRO® ISM Band ICs include all the attractive features of the EZRadio® RF transmitters, receivers and transceivers, such as high integration, low cost, flexibility, low BOM, and easy design-in. These EZRadioPRO targets more sophisticated ISM band applications and offer several enhanced parameters and features, including continuous frequency coverage from 119 - 960MHz and output power up to +20dBm. Also included are built-in features such as a wake-up timer, low battery detector, transmit and receive data FIFOs, power-on reset circuit, and general-purpose digital I/Os.

Si4455 EZRadio® Transceivers

Silicon Labs Si4455 EZRadio® Transceivers are easy-to-use, low-current, and sub-GHz devices. These transceivers combine plug-and-play simplicity with the flexibility needed to handle various applications. Silicon Labs Si4455 transceivers come in a compact 3mm x 3mm package combined with a low external BOM count, making the devices both space-efficient and cost-effective. The 13dBm output power and excellent sensitivity of -116dBm allow for a longer operating range. The low current consumption of 18mA TX (at 10dBm), 10mA RX, and 50nA standby provides for superior battery life.

Silicon Labs EZRadio® ISM Band ICs EXPANSION

Silicon Labs has expanded their EZRadio® family of ISM Band ICs with Sub-GHz Receiver (Si4355) and Transceiver (Si4455) as well as development kits for one-way and two-way communication and key fob development with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) capability. This new receiver and transceiver combine plug-and-play simplicity with the flexibility needed to handle a wide variety of applications. Both come in a compact 3 mm x 3 mm package combined with a low external BOM counts makes these devices both space efficient and cost effective.  Like all Silicon Laboratories' EZRadio devices, the Si4355 is fully compliant with all worldwide regulatory standards, such as FCC, ETSI, and ARIB.
