Microchip's Audio Development Board for PIC32 MCUs was developed for the design of high-quality 24-bit audio applications. The Audio Development Board features the Wolfson WM8960 audio conec, two-inch color LCD display, USB interface, and an on-board microphone. The 80-MIPS PIC32 MCU, which supports complex audio algorithims, provides 512 KB Flash and 128 KB RAM. Software libraries offer support for developing speech and audio recording and playback products, as well as MP3 music decoding applications. The Audio Development Board for PIC32 MCUs from Microchip is ideal for audio applications such as docks for portable audio players, home entertainment systems, and automotive systems. This development kit also interfaces with Microchip's accessory development platform for iPod® and iPhone®.
